Testimonials
David – thanks for the delicious homemade pumpkin soup – with
the toasted macadamia nuts such a lovely light meal – and
enjoyed the fresh garlic and cheese pizza with it – just
the thing to warm me up on a winter’s night! Looking
forward to tasting more of the menu.

Prawn Camembert and Macadamia Pizza - wow such decadence – enjoyed
this combination and my wife enjoyed the Bert’s fettuccine!
Thanks for suggesting these to us!

Thank you Dave for bringing your menu to Hope Island.
We dined
there on Tuesday night and thoroughly enjoyed.
The
new menu - I had the risotto - superb- and my husband Had the
Cattleman Pizza. We were tempted to indulge in The
Tia
Maria Mud Cake - divine. Next time I visit - I am Having
the Pumpkin Soup and then a whole Mud Cake for myself
Definitely
no sharing!!!

Who made that Fresh Garlic Pizza? Why didn't someone tell
me how great it was, I would have ordered 50! At $8-50 a true
bargain-and will keep away the winter cold!

Thank you Godfather - I love your style of cooking! You have
passion for food-quality-service- whilst allowing us to have
a relaxed experience!

Bert's fettuccine for me - Supreme Pizza for him - and a good
bottle of Red! Perfect combination for my night off! Oh and
I forgot - I took home the Tia Maria Mud Cake and we heated
it up and ate it whilst watching dvd's!

Cuisine Extraordinaire
Perhaps the most difficult decision to make when dining at
the Godfather is “What to Order”
Mine host, David Willmington has very successfully transplanted
the best menu items from their very successful Brisbane Restaurant
.
The extensive choice of Pizzas, Risottos, and Pasta dishes
can initially be intimidating, particularly when confronted
with having to make a selection.
We chose the Potato and Onion Pizza Bread as a starter followed
by Tuscan Spaghetti, an old favourite of mine.
My wife chose to have a designer pasta dish of Penne, Tomato
and Spinach, a superb choice.
We rounded the event off by sharing the Sticky Date Pudding
, this certainly lived up to it’s description of “Decadent”,
and put the finishing touches to a great evening.
With a bottle shop close by, plenty of parking, and excellent
service, the Godfather will become a favourite for uncomplicated
quality casual dining in the Hope Island area.
